Abstract

The following article shows the implementation of fuzzy logic controllers Type-1 and Interval Type-2, designed firstly for a diesel motor and implemented on a nonlinear second order system. Additionally, another way of implementing the Type-2 fuzzy logic controllers, is shown, using Kleene algebra, due to its benefits during the implementation of a simple function. Likewise, a variation is performed where a type reduction is applied to an algebraic expression. Finally, it is desired to observe the behavior of the controllers given the uncertainty sources.
