Abstract

The prevalence of the disease of the gallbladder is increased in cirrhotic patients. This fact further complicates an already morbid disease. Pathogenesis, patient assessment and work-up, as well as operative and nonoperative intervention for biliary disease in cirrhotic patients are examined below.
