Abstract
Several patients suffer from the concomitant hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection and psoriasis. First-line treatment for patients with moderate to severe psoriasis and HCV includes ultraviolet (UV) phototherapy combined with topical therapy, such as topical corticosteroids, vitamin D3 derivatives, keratolytics, coal tars, and calcineurin inhibitors. Second-line treatment includes TNF inhibitors, together with consultation with a hepatologist.
