Abstract

The book concludes with an Afterword considering how the findings emerging from Creating Facebook relate to the wider ecosystem of different forms of social media (e.g. Twitter , YouTube , Snapchat ), which provide different affordances and on which different patterns of social engagement have developed. It then reflects on the wider significance of our research project for contemporary social relations and political stance-taking on Facebook .
