Abstract
Nico Stehr and me met first in about 1992, or so, at Cecilienhof in Potsdam. The newly founded Potsdam Institute of Climate Impact Research had convened a group of people who were thought to be able to help bring together the natural science side of climate research and the “societal dimension”, whatever this might mean.
Prof. Dr. Hans von Storch, Director emeritus, Institute for Coastal Research of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht, Professor at the University of Hamburg; Email: hvonstorch@web.de.
