Abstract

The main contributions to the session on Metallurgic Processes have been selected to cover different aspects of the mathematical modelling and numerical simulation of the probably most common and important class of metallic alloys, namely steels. In these contributions, thermal or electromagnetic-hydrodynamic treatments of steels, either in the liquid or the solid state, are discussed.
