LPG ist die Abkürzung für Liquified Petroleum Gas, zu deutsch: verflüssigtes Erdölgas. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Gemisch aus hauptsächlich drei Kohlenwasserstoffen: Propan (C3H8), Butan und Isobutan (jeweils C4H10).
