Zusammenfassung
Das Leben in den zunehmend multikulturellen, multiethnischen und multireligiösen Städten unter postmigratinonellen Kontexten enthält Möglichkeiten und Risiken für die verschiedenen Generationen der Mehr- und Minderheiten.1 Es stellt auch neue Anforderungen an Sozialwissenschaftler, politische Philosophen und natürlich die Politik. Immer mehr Theoretiker scheinen überzeugt, daß Prozesse der Eingliederung von Migranten, die zu den großen ethnischen, linguistischen, kulturellen und religiösen Verschiedenheiten in den sogenannten postmodernen Gesellschaften beitragen, es nötig machen, grundlegende Konzepte wie Kultur, Ethnizität, Gemeinschaft und Identität neu zu durchdenken. Sie scheinen außerdem zu meinen, daß nur ‚differentialistische‘, ‚diskurstheoretische‘ oder ‚konstruktivistische‘ Paradigmen den angemessenen Rahmen abgeben, die Dynamik überlappender kultureller Neuschöpfungen, Sprachüberschneidungen, kontextualisierter Konstruktionen von Gemeinschaften, überlappender, ‚flexibler‘, ‚hybrider‘, ‚kreolisierter‘, ‚diasporischer‘, ‚multipler‘, ‚minimaler‘ oder ‚Bindestrich‘-Identitäten analysieren zu können.2
