Die britische Fernsehdramaserie Life on Mars (BBC, 2006/7) wird im Allgemeinen als ein bahnbrechendes und innovatives Werk gesehen, das es verdient, auf eine Stufe mit anderen hochangesehenen Serien wie The Sopranos, Mad Men und The Wire gestellt zu werden.
