Abstract

This note studies the strong invariance property of a discontinuous differential inclusion in which the right hand side is the sum of an almost upper semicontinuous dissipative and an almost lower semicontinuous one-sided Lipschitz multifunction. A characterization is obtained in terms of a Hamilton-Jacobi inequality.
