Abstract
The dynamical theory of x-ray diffraction in perfect crystals is considered in the present chapter with an emphasis on the points crucial to the backscattering geometry. The consideration is not restricted to backscattering alone. On the contrary, a general approach is used for the whole range of incidence angles without division into “standard” and “backscattering” regimes.
