Im Rahmen supra-adaptiver Logistiknetzwerke müssen Mitarbeiter und Organisation durch die hohe Volatilität von Veränderungen mit vielfältigen Anforderungen adäquat umgehen können. Zwangsweise steigt aufgrund der hohen Anforderungen das Risiko von Fehlhandlungen der operativen Mitarbeiter. Zudem führt die Verkettung der Supply Chain zu einer Schnittstellenproblematik, die den Umgang mit Fehlern erschwert. Neben den individuellen stellen die organisationalen Bedingungen bislang einen eher wenig beachteten Bereich des Fehlermanagements durch Unternehmen dar. Während auf individueller Ebene die Qualifizierung von Mitarbeitern die Voraussetzung zur Fehlerprävention darstellt, spielt auf organisationaler Ebene die Kultur im Umgang mit Fehlern eine wesentliche Rolle. Damit ist die Einstellung eines Unternehmens gegenüber Fehlern gemeint und die Art, wie mit ihrem Auftreten umgegangen wird. Über die Unternehmensgrenze hinaus ist zudem ein netzwerkweites Fehlermanagement erforderlich, um die Reaktionsschnelligkeit auf in der Supply Chain identifizierte Fehler zu wahren. Im Folgenden werden im Rahmen des Forschungsverbundes entwickelte Ansätze dargestellt, welche Möglichkeiten sich mit der Implementierung einer Fehlerkultur einerseits und eines netzwerkweiten Fehlermanagements andererseits bieten.
