Auszug

Die vertikal-infraklavikuläre Plexusblockade (VIP) nach Kilka, Geiger und Mehrkens und die Technik nach Raj, modifiziert nach Borgeat haben sich im klinischen Alltag als Zugangswege zum Plexus brachialis unmittelbar unterhalb des Schlüsselbeins etabliert. Beide Verfahren zeichnen sich durch eindeutige Leitstrukturen und einfache Punktionstechniken aus. Die infraklavikuläre Blockadetechnik eignet sich für Patienten, bei denen ein »hoher« Block angestrebt wird.
