Zusammenfassung

Frau R., 41 Jahre, war eine sportliche und beruflich engagierte Sekretärin, hatte Familie und 2 Söhne (14 und 16). Beim Ballspiel merkte sie eines Tages, dass sie häufig nicht mehr den Ball fing, sondern daneben griff. Auch das Laufen fiel ihr schwerer. Als sich nach 2 Monaten Schluckbeschwerden einstellten, ging sie zum Arzt. Nach überweisung zum Neurologen diagnostizierte dieser »Motoneuronenerkrankung, wahrscheinlich ALS (amyotrophe Lateralsklerose)«. Mehr wollte er ihr nicht mitteilen.
