Zusammenfassung

Das von Leo Buerger und Alexander von Winiwater erstmals beschriebene Krankheitsbild der Endangiitis obliterans hat zahlenmäßig zwar nur einen Anteil von 3–5% am Gesamtkollektiv der Patienten mit arteriellen Durchblutungsstörungen, doch stellt es für den behandelnden Arzt nach wie vor eine besondere diagnostische und therapeutische Herausforderung dar.
