Zusammenfassung

Nach einer Definition des National Cancer Instituts fallen in den Bereich »head & neck« maligne Tumoren der Nase, Nasennebenhöhlen, Lippe, Mundhöhle, des Oropharynx, Hypopharynx und Larynx mit der angrenzenden Trachea sowie der Halsweichgewebe inklusive Schilddrüse und Speicheldrüsen. In diesem Kapitel erweitern wir den Definitionsbereich »head & neck« um die angrenzenden Lokalisationen Schädelbasis – Fronto- bzw. Rhinobasis, Laterobasis bzw. Felsenbein/Ohr – und Orbita.
