Abstract

There are a few formal theoretical models that explicitly deal with issues related to international trade patterns with multiple groups and economic structures. The previous chapters analyzed trade patterns with capital, knowledge and multiple groups. But these frameworks are limited to the case that the world economy produces a single (highly aggregated) good which can be used as either for consumption or investment. In the remainder of this book, we are concerned with world economies with multiple products.
