Zusammenfassung

Motorische Defizite stellen im Gegensatz zu Gedächtnisstörungen und anderen kognitiven Einbußen keine Kernsymptome neurodegenerativer Demenzen dar. Dennoch gebührt ihnen aus mehreren Gründen besondere Aufmerksamkeit. So geht eine Vielzahl von Erkrankungen, die zu dementiellen Syndromen führen, auch mit motorischen Veränderungen einher. Unter den neurodegenerativen Erkrankungen sind hier vor allem zu nennen:

  • Alzheimer-Krankheit

  • Frontotemporale Degenerationen

  • Morbus Parkinson und andere Lewy-Körperchen-Erkrankungen

  • Amyotrophe Lateralsklerose-ParkinsonDemenz-Komplex

  • Chorea Huntington

  • Motoneuronen-Krankheiten

  • Dentato-rubro-pallido-Luysische Atrophie

  • Progressive supranukleäre Parese

  • Kortikobasal ganglionäre Degeneration

  • Hallervorden-Spatz-Erkrankung

  • Multi-System-Atrophien
