Zusammenfassung
Mit der Einführung der Software „Crown l.o“ im April 1997 wurde das Anwendungsspektrum des in Teil 10 beschriebenen Cerec-II-Gerätes um die Möglichkeit erweitert, Kronen herzustellen (Abb. 14.1). Für diese Nutzung sind keine Veränderungen am Gerät selbst nötig; andere Software-Algorithmen, die mit der Einführung der Version „Crown l.o“ Einzug hielten, reichen aus. Neben der Softwareausstattung für den reinen Chairside-Einsatz wurden auch Design-Modi für die Anwendung im zahntechnischen Labor hinzugefügt.
