Zusammenfassung

Die Sonographie der Lunge und Pleura hat sich im letzten Jahrzehnt als wichtige Untersuchungstechnik in der Notfall- und Intensivmedizin etabliert. Die Tatsache, dass in der Lungensonographie neben wenigen einfachen sonomorphologischen Strukturen vor allem Artefakte dargestellt und interpretiert werden, führt dazu, dass diese Untersuchungsmodalität auch für ultraschallunerfahrene Untersucher relativ schnell und einfach zu erlernen ist. Im folgenden Kapitel sollen die Grundlagen der Lungensonographie, der Untersuchungsgang sowie typische Befunde akutmedizinisch relevanter Krankheitsbilder anhand von Originalbefunden dargestellt werden.
