Nasal Physiology and Pathophysiology of Nasal Disorders

Abstract

The aims of this chapter are to emphasize the importance of understanding the ultrastructural anatomy of the nose and provide basic information about the microanatomical structures based on electron microscopy. Essentials of the electron microscope and the simple gross and light microscopic anatomy of nasal structures have also been added to ensure clear understanding of this ultrastructure analysis.
