Zusammenfassung
Beim Thema Rohstoffe denken die wenigsten an Sand und Kies, dabei werden solche Massenrohstoffe in weitaus größerer Menge verbraucht als Metalle. Rohstoffe wie Natursteine, Kalk, Ton, Kaolin, Kies und Sand werden unter dem Begriff »Steine und Erden« gefasst, womit feste und lockere Mineralgemenge beziehungsweise Gesteine gemeint sind.
