Arthropod Venoms

Abstract

The venomous scorpions of the subfamily Tityinae from the family Buthidae (Simon, 1880) differ from the representatives of the other families by virtue of: a sternum longer than broad, narrow in front, nearly triangular, with anteriorly converging sides; movable finger of pedipalps with more than seven rows of granules obliquely positioned, largely overlapping each other.
