Zusammenfassung

Die unerwünschten Wirkungen von Antikoagulantien werden zweckmäßigerweise aufgetrennt in Nebenwirkungen und in Komplikationen, diese wiederum verursacht entweder durch Heparine oder durch orale Antikoagulantien. Nebenwirkungen der Heparine, die den Nervenarzt angehen, sind die Dysaesthesia pedis, die Impotenz, die allerdings fraglich ist, und die Osteoporose. Letztere verrät sich nicht durch Veränderung der Phosphatasen oder der Parathyreoidfunktionen. An sie ist stets zu denken, wenn bei Heparinlangzeitbehandlung chronische Rückenschmerzen auftreten. Die Alopezie, Kopfhaar und Augenbrauen betreffend, hängt wahrscheinlich mit dem Schwefelgehalt der Héparine (sulfatierte Mucopolysaccharide) zusammen. Von den oralen Antikoagulantien sind die gastrointestinalen Störungen besonders beim Coumarin bekannt. Die blauen Zehen und nekrotisierende Hautblutungen stellen auch Nebenwirkungen der Indandione dar, die wegen ihres knochenmarksdepressorischen Effektes, ihrer Leber- und Nierentoxizität bei uns so gut wie nicht verwendet werden.
