Abstract

From the literature we compiled complications of 11051 vena cava-catheters. To this number 3241 own cases are added which were collected in a one year-prospective study of 9 hospitals in Germany, Austria and Swit2erland. The code forms (Figs. 3–6) were evaluated electronically.
