Zusammenfassung

Die Nebennierenrinde produziert eine Vielzahl von Hormonen mit glucocorticoider, mineralocorticoider, androgener, östrogener und gestagener Aktivität. Von diesen Hormonen sind die Glucocorticoide mit einem Tagesbedarf von ca. 20 mg und das Mineralocorticoid Aldosteron mit einem Tagesbedarf von 0,1–0,3 mg lebensnotwendig [8, 9,11,12,19]. Das physiologische Glucocorticoid Cortisol hat ebenfalls eine mineralo-corticoide Wirkung — nur in einem etwa 15- bis 20fach geringeren Ausmaß.
