Toward Interactive and Intelligent Decision Support Systems

Part of the book series: Lecture Notes in Economics and Mathematical Systems ((LNE,volume 285))

Abstract

Decision support systems include two major interrelated parts; one is a system of mathematical models and the other is a defined methodology based on formal and informal optimization or negotiation concepts. This paper aims at giving a perspective on a desirable direction of developing decision support systems and introduces our research activities concerning the development of methodology and computer systems of interactive modeling and multiple criteria decision making.
