Zusammenfassung

Das Verfahren beruht auf der Schwerlöslichkeit des Bariumsalzes. Beim Zusatz von Bariumnitrat zur Chromatlösung fällt das Bariumchromat aus. Die Umsetzung ist dann vollständig, wenn äquimolare Mengen beider Komponenten in der Lösung vorhanden sind. Der Endpunkt wird durch das Verschwinden der gelben Farbe des CrO −−4 -Ions angezeigt.
