Summary

Dapiprazole is an alpha-adrenergic antagonist which is able to reverse diagnostic mydriasis induced by phenylephrine eye drops in patients previous undergoing cataract surgery. No rebound effect could be observed using our dosages. Dapiprazole produces miosis, improves visual acuity affected by mydriasis and does not alter intraocular pressure. No severe side effects could be observed.
