Zusammenfassung
Wir wenden uns nunmehr dem Studium der veränderlichen Erscheinungen der Sonnenoberfläche zu. Die „Meteorologie der Sonnenatmosphäre“ ist einmal für die Astrophysik von großer Bedeutung, da wir keinen anderen Stern im Detail beobachten können. Zum anderen dürften derartige Untersuchungen auch für die terrestrische Meteorologie mancherlei Anregung geben. Denn viele Erscheinungen, die auf der Erde nur schwer erfaßbar sind, traten erst unter den ganz andersartigen Verhältnissen der Sonne deutlich in Erscheinung.
