Zusammenfassung

Die Vielzahl unterschiedlichster kongenitaler Herzfehler bzw. deren Kombinationen können für klinische Zwecke auf 3 pathophysiologisch definierte Hauptgruppen reduziert werden:

  • (vorwiegend) Links-Rechts-Shunt mit dem Hauptsymptom drohender manifester Herzinsuffizienz

  • (vorwiegend) Rechts-Links-Shunt mit dem Hauptsymptom Hypoxämie

  • Obstruktion des Blutflusses auf supra-, infra- oder valvulärer Ebene.
