Zusammenfassung
Zum Thema Herzinsuffizienz finden sich in der neueren kardiologischen Literatur zahlreiche Informationen, die auch für die anästhesiologische Betreuung von Patienten mit einer arteriellen Hypertonie, einer Myokardischämie oder einer operativ zu behandelnden Herzerkrankung von großer Bedeutung sind. Diese Erkenntnisse sollen zusammen mit den anästhesiologischen Standards referiert und im folgenden kurz zusammengefaßt werden.
