Abstract

Traditional Chinese medicine has a functional nosology based on disturbances of the five Zang organs (lung, heart, spleen, liver, and kidney) and the six Fu organs (large intestine, small intestine, stomach, gallbladder, urinary bladder, “Sanjiao”).
