Zusammenfassung
Ein komplexer verteilter Büroablauf repräsentiert einen Vorgang, der schrittweise durch bestimmte Dienste innerhalb einer verteilten Büroumgebung abgewickelt wird. Der vorliegende Beitrag beschreibt einen Systemansatz zur rechnergestützten Implementierung solcher Abläufe. Zunächst wird eine höhere Anwendungssprache vorgestellt, die zur Formulierung verteilter Büroabläufe dient und in einer verteilten Systemarchitektur interpretiert wird. Als Kommunikationsbasis wird anschließend eine verteilte C++-Erweiterung beschrieben, durch die die Bürodienste und die erforderlichen verteilten Interaktionen realisiert werden. Auf der Basis jüngster Erfahrungen mit dem OSF Distributed Computing Environment (DCE) wird erörtert, wie einige der erforderlichen Systemdienste alternativ auch durch den Industriestandard DCE in noch umfassenderer Weise erbracht werden können.
