Abstract

Histoplasmosis is a granulomatous systemic mycosis that is mainly endemic in the Ohio and Mississippi valleys in USA, in Latin America, India, east Asia and in Australia. However, sporadic eases may occur in other parts of the word, particularly in HIV infected patients.
