Zusammenfassung

Auch wenn die Indikation zur koronaren Angioplastik ursprünglich in der Erweiterung hochgradiger Stenosen in proximalen Segmenten großer Koronararterien gesehen wurde, die zu einer Angina pectoris und/oder Ischämiereaktion führten, wurde vereinzelt bereits sehr früh auch die Rekanalisation von Gefäßverschlüssen versucht [11, 26, 42]. In der Mehrzahl dieser Fälle handelt es sich um subakute Verschlüsse, die zwischen der diagnostischen Angiographie und dem Zeitpunkt der geplanten PTCA eingetreten waren. Inzwischen nehmen Rekanalisationseingriffe bei chronischen Verschlüssen 20-35% der Gesamtzahl der PTCAEingriffe ein [29, 49, 58]. Dabei handelt es sich fast ausschließlich um Eingriffe an nativen Koronargefäßen, während zu Eingriffen an verschlossenen Venenbypasses nur vergleichsweise kleine Zahlen vorliegen [5, 6, 10, 21, 22, 23, 36, 64], die zudem überwiegend Zusammenstellungen von Patienten beinhalten, die in einem Zeitraum von mehr als 10 Jahren behandelt wurden [5, 36].
