Zusammenfassung

Ca. 20% aller Luxationen betreffen das Ellenbogengelenk. Nach der Schulterluxation stellen sie somit die zweithäufigste Gelenkverrenkung dar. In einer Nachuntersuchung des eigenen Patientengutes wiesen 28% der Patienten mit Ellenbogenverletzungen gleichzeitig eine Luxation im Humeroulnargelenk auf. Diese Zahlen unterstreichen die Bedeutung dieser Verletzungen. Isolierte Luxationen treten bevorzugt im Jugendalter und beim Sport auf. Bei den Luxationsfrakturen liegt das Alter der Patienten durchschnittlich zwischen 50 und 60 Jahren.
