Zusammenfassung

Mit eosinophilen Granulozyten assoziierte Erkrankungen der Lunge und des Gastrointesti-naltraktes umfassen eine heterogene Gruppe von Krankheiten, denen histopathologisch eine parenchymale und interstitielle Infiltration durch eosinophile Granulozyten gemeinsam ist. Laborchemisch gehen die Erkrankungen mit einer deutlichen Vermehrung der Eosinophilen im betroffenen Organ, in den meisten Fällen auch mit einer Bluteosinophilie einher. Klinisch steht die Störung der Funktion des jeweils betroffenen Organs im Vordergrund, die von den gewebetoxischen Effektormechanismen des eosinophilen Granulozyten vermittelt wird [11, 17]. Die integrierte Betrachtung der eosinophilen Pneumonie und eosinophilen Gastroenteritis in diesem Abschnitt trägt dieser uniformen patho-genetischen Bedeutung des Eosinophilen Rechnung.
