Zusammenfassung

Die traditionelle Zielgruppe für Impfungen sind Kinder. Den Impfungen von Erwachsenen wurde bisher wenig Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt. Insbesondere für ältere Menschen erscheinen nach Studienlage manche Impfungen empfehlenswert. Diese Tatsache wird jedoch auch heute noch häufig ignoriert. Speziell Influenza-und Pneumokokkenimpfungen müssen in diesem Zusammenhang neu überdacht werden.
