Zusammenfassung
Die Deutschen sind mit einem durchschnittlichen Alkoholkonsum von 9,9 1 reinen Alkohols pro Einwohner und Jahr fast Spitzenreiter der entsprechenden Statistik der Weltgesundheitsorganisation. Wir liegen damit weit vor dem Vereinigten Königreich (UK), den USA und den skandinavischen Ländern, deren Bevölkerung etwa ein Drittel weniger Alkohol pro Jahr konsumiert. Unsere Zahlen haben sich seit 1970 kaum verändert, tendenziell jedoch erniedrigt.
