Zusammenfassung
Die Entwicklungsgeschichte der Therapie mit Fumarsäurederivaten seit den ersten Selbstversuchen des Chemikers Dr. Walter Schweckendiek im Jahre 1959 [12] bis zur Zulassung durch das Bundesinstitut für Arzneimittel und Medizinprodukte 1994 gehört sicherlich zu den ungewöhnlichsten, die jemals eine Therapieform genommen hat.
