Zusammenfassung
Jede Röntgenuntersuchung des Magens hat eine klare und gezielte Indikation zur Voraussetzung. Während die Indikation in der Regel vom zuweisenden Arzt gestellt wird, entscheidet der Radiologe über Art und Ablauf der Untersuchung und trägt damit eine klar abgegrenzte Mitverantwortung. Die Durchführung einer röntgenologischen Magenuntersuchung als routinemäßige „Vorsorgeuntersuchung“oder als „screening-test“kann besonders nach Erlaß der „Verordnung über den Schutz vor Schäden durch Röntgenstrahlen“(Röntgenverordnung — RöV) vom 1. 3. 1973 kaum noch verantwortet werden. Ausnahmen sind gewisse Befunde, die auch ohne klinischen Anlaß eine regelmäßige Kontrolle erfordern (sog. „Präcancerosen“des Magens: chronisch-atrophische Gastritis bei perniziöser Anämie; gutartige, nicht operierte Magentumoren; chronische Ulcera, postoperative Zustände).
