Abstract
The present short chapter on cell lines participating in graft rejection may be considered as an addendum to other chapters contained in this volume. Since the latter have in part been written as long as 2 years ago, it seemed appropriate to include in the collection of review papers on transplantation a short summary covering the essentials of more recent findings in the field of cellular immunology. This domain of research is now rapidly expanding, and the following text is an attempt to summarize experimental observations published in 1975 and the first half of 1976, however, some earlier reports will also be referred to.
