Detailed informations on ion trasport have been presented in two symposia (ANDERSON, ed.; ZIMMERMANN and DAINTY, eds.), a text book (BAKER and HALL, eds.) and in review articles on ATPases (HODGES) and multiphasic uptake mechanisms (NISSEN).
