Cardiomyopathy and Myocardial Biopsy

Abstract

The clinical classification of CMs [3, 4, 9], defined as a heart muscle disease of unknown cause or association [10], is used here. COCM, the type most commonly encountered, is of world-wide distribution. It is known by a variety of names which were reviewed by Cockshott etal. as early as 1967.
