Abstract
Die Leistung von EDV-Systemen, speziell von komplexen Systemen mit Stapel-, Dialog- und Realzeitverarbeitung, wird noch so unterschiedlich beschrieben, daß eine vergleichende Betrachtung verschiedener Systeme oft sehr schwierig oder sogar unmöglich ist. Nur eine Standardisierung der Leistungsbeschreibung würde es ermöglichen, Daten über das Einzelexperiment wissenschaftlich zu verwerten. In dieser Arbeit soll anhand eines konkreten Falles, nämlich eines Vergleichs von zwei SIEMENS BS2000 Installationen, eine Leistungsbeschreibung zur Diskussion gestellt werden und zur Nachahmung bei anderen Systemen empfohlen werden.
