Über die Zweckmäßigkeit chirurgischer Maßnahmen bei Verrucae vulgares

Summary

Ultima ratio of all, remedies in curing warts — especially plantar mosaic warts — remains the cryotherapy (Liquid nitrogen) or the curettage after macerating by salicylic acid pflaster. Possibly, a proportionally high incidence of recurrence (10–20%) may be decreased in the future by postoperative topical application of virocidal agents (expecially capsid degrading proteolytic enzymes or suitable antimetabolites like 5-Fluorouracil or Idoxuridin).

Zusammenfassung

Ultima ratio Behandlung insbesondere rezidivfreudige, plantarer Warzen bleibt nach wie vor die Kryotherapie (Stickstoff-Kältesonde) oder die Kürettage eines mit Salizylsäure demarkierten Herdes. Möglicherweise ist eine gegenwärtig auch nach internationalen Statistiken noch verhältnismäßig hohe Rezidivquote (10 bis 20%) durch postoperative Applikation neuerer, virozider Externa (z.B. viruscapsidspaltende Proteinasen oder geeignete Antimetaboliten wie 5-Fluorouracil oder Joddesoxyuridin) zu senken.
