Zusammenfassung

Derzeit existieren keine etablierten Methoden, um den Langzeiteffekt von Antiarrhythmika zu beurteilen. In der vorliegenden Untersuchung sollen am Beispiel eines Patientenkollektivs unter oraler Mexiletintherapie Möglichkeiten und methodische Probleme der Evaluation der Wirksamkeit einer oralen antiarrhythmischen Dauerbehandlung dargestellt werden.
