Die klinische Bedeutung von Steroid-Hormonrezeptoren beim Mammakarzinom

Zusammenfassung

Beim Mammakarzinom gilt heute von den Steroid-Hormonrezeptoren vor allem die Bestimmung der Östrogen-Rezeptoren als klinisch etablierte Methode [5, 6, 10, 15, 16]. Grundsätzlich dient der Hormonrezeptor-Nachweis zur Unterscheidung von hormonabhängigen und hormonunabhängigen Geweben. Die Bedeutung der Hormonrezeptoren zeigt sich durch folgende Beziehungen und prognostische Aussagemöglichkeiten (Rezeptor-Bestimmung als biochemischer „Prediction-Test“):

    Hormonrezeptoren dienen zur Entscheidung des Einsatzes einer Hormontherapie beim fernmetastasierenden Mammakarzinom.

  2. 2.

    Hormonrezeptoren sind prognostische Faktoren beim primären Mammakarzinom.

  3. 3.

    Es besteht eine Korrelation von Hormonrezeptoren und histopathologischen Befunden und es

  4. 4.

    besteht beim Mammakarzinom eine Korrelation zur Proliferationsrate in vitro (Thymidin-Labeling-Index, Chemosensibilitäts-Kurzzeittest).
