Abstract
Multiple obliterations of the coronary arteries are in the majority in patients with incapacitating angina pectoris. The surgical treatment of these patients requires aortocoronary bypasses which may be performed as separate vein grafts or/and as a sequential graft (jump graft, etc.). This is referred to as a complete myocardial revascularization which is reported to diminish the operative mortality and improve the long-term results of bypass surgery. The present study deals with the peroperative function of sequential grafts connected to closely adjacent myocardial areas.
